Intellipocket Oy is committed to providing digital services that are as accessible as possible. This accessibility statement applies to the consumer-facing parts of the Intellipocket customer loyalty SaaS platform directly managed by Intellipocket.
Although Intellipocket as a company is not directly subject to the scope of the European Accessibility Act due to its size, many of our clients are public sector entities or larger organizations bound by the directive. The purpose of this statement is to support our clients in meeting their accessibility compliance requirements regarding the services offered to their end-consumers.
This statement focuses on the technologies and core features managed by Intellipocket and provided to all clients as part of the system architecture.
Intellipocket evaluated the accessibility of the service components under its control in May 2025 through a self-assessment utilizing the Google Lighthouse testing tool. Based on these analyses, targeted technical fixes have been implemented to enhance overall accessibility.
According to our assessment, the consumer-facing service components managed by Intellipocket commendably meet the Level A and Level AA criteria of the European Accessibility Directive (WCAG 2.1). Based on the Google Lighthouse evaluations, these components achieve a high level of accessibility (scoring 90–100 out of 100 points in individual categories, receiving a "green rating"). This applies to all technical areas within Intellipocket’s direct control.
The service components subject to the Accessibility Directive are designed and implemented specifically for mobile devices. Desktop and tablet usage has been technically restricted to ensure the best possible user experience and accessibility on target mobile devices.
The following consumer-facing components are managed directly by Intellipocket, and their accessibility has been verified according to the testing mentioned above:
Subscription forms for Mobile Applications and Wallet passes: The technical implementation of the forms is compliant with accessibility standards.
Download and installation pages: The structure and functionality of these pages support accessible navigation and usage.
WebApp UI foundation: The overall technical framework and interface elements of the WebApp mobile application directly managed by Intellipocket have been built with accessibility in mind.
Other web pages included in the service: Our service scope also includes individual standalone web pages functioning via links within WebApp applications and Wallet passes (such as NPS survey pages and other similar features). As of the date of this statement, the accessibility of the pages currently in use has been tested and meets the required standards.
The following components and features are excluded from the scope of this accessibility statement, as Intellipocket cannot directly control or influence their accessibility compliance:
1) Client-managed content and features: Our clients are directly responsible for the accessibility of the content they add and the custom features they configure within the service. These include, for example:
Content within Wallet passes and the WebApp mobile application (texts, offers, information)
Logical structure of in-app navigation
Color schemes and contrast choices applied to the service
Alternative text descriptions for images (alt texts)
2) Third-party Wallet passes (Google Wallet, Apple Wallet): Where our clients utilize Google or Apple Wallet passes, Intellipocket cannot influence the core platform accessibility of these native frameworks. These are third-party platforms maintained by Google and Apple with their own accessibility policies and limitations.
3) Management Tool (Back-End / Admin Platform): The Intellipocket loyalty platform management tool is intended exclusively for internal use by our business clients' personnel. As Intellipocket is not directly bound by the EU Accessibility Directive due to its organization size, and since the management tool is not a public-facing service, its accessibility has not been implemented at the same detailed level as the consumer-facing components.
While Intellipocket strives to provide a technically accessible platform, the final end-consumer accessibility experience is significantly impacted by choices made by our clients. It is the client's responsibility to ensure accessibility particularly regarding the following factors:
Clarity of App and Pass Content: The clarity, language, and readability of texts and information layout.
Navigation Clarity: Logical and easily understandable navigation structure within the service (Intellipocket provides a technically accessible navigation framework, but the client manages its content and structure).
Color Contrasts: Ensuring sufficient contrast ratios between client-selected brand colors and overlaying text elements.
Image Descriptions (Alt Texts): The client is responsible for providing descriptive alternative text for all images uploaded to the service. Intellipocket's system provides a technical default description for images (e.g., "content image" or a corresponding functional description), which the client can—and should—replace with text that accurately describes the image content. The default description cannot be completely removed, guaranteeing a minimum level of technical compliance.
We continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our services. If you notice any deficiencies regarding the accessibility of the parts managed directly by Intellipocket, please contact us.
